Are those old words necessary?
“Prudence and Piety”… What the heck Michael?
I like alliterations.
The double “p” is up my alley.

Business

Prudence
Proverbs 27:12 (ESV)The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it.
“you learn best from mistakes…But they don’t have to be your own”
I’ll share my mistakes.
And mistakes from others I’ve learned along the way.
Take the advice from this newsletter to make prudent decisions for your business.
Piety
Is this important?…yes.
Definition - Reverence for God or devout fulfillment of religious obligations.

Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.
To non-believers.
At worst the Bible is the most-sold book of all time.
With thousands of years of history and knowledge.
There is wisdom to be gained from it.
Lord willing you’ll see the gospel come through this newsletter.
To believers.

What does the Gospel have to do with your Business?
How do you act on Biblical truth without succumbing to the false and fleeting ideas of this world?
Lord willing you will also see the Gospel come through this newsletter.
And we can journey together as we pursue the Lord and improve our business.
Life
What value do these words bring to your life?
Prudence
Proverbs 13:16 (ESV)
Every prudent man acts with knowledge, but a fool flaunts his folly.
Will you be worse off with more wisdom in your life?
Is it crazy to think you could be a better Spouse? Better Friend? Better Parent? Better Steward of your possessions and time?
Proverbs 9:10 ESV
The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and the knowledge of the Holy One is insight.
Let’s grow in prudence together.
Piety
How can you honor the Lord in your life more?
What difference do revenue and sales make if you don’t honor the Lord while you’re doing it?
Piety in your personal life is one of the most important things for you to consider.
Because who you are will come out in every area of your life.
You home.
Your business.
Your relationships.
Luke 6:45 ESV “…for out of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.”
